General information
*public vs private/ College vs university: Public, private, colleges and universities are different to each other in many ways. The most important one is the quality of education, because the education program is affiliated by the different organization, like in public universities the goberment is the one who give the money for the education. Another thing is that the campus and all the activities are not the same, the private schools had more technology, better teachers, and more opportunities.

Room and board: There are several buildings with apartments for you to choose. One of the biggest is The Alcalá Vista building, with 156 apartments. Most of these units have two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, and a living room. Each bedroom accommodates two persons. The reception desk, the laundry facilities, the study rooms, the wide-screen TV, the lounge, and the staff offices are located at Palomar Hall.

At first I was very nervous for entering to the school, but when I was already in, the community and the campus make it easy to get involved and to feel good.
There are a lot of different people, form different countries so you can learn different types of opinions and beliefs.

I think that this university is unique it’s an academic island surrounded by the resources of a major city. For all the engineering students like me, have a benefit, and is the access to well-paying internships at places like Qualcomm, Hewlett-Packard etc.

Well I am very comfortable to be at this university, first of all because it is in a very good location. You’re 10 minutes from the beach, and 10 minutes from downtown. The school has a lot of activities that you can get involve. Another thing that I like is that im living in Manchester Village with all my friends, and it’s very good because you learn to live with lots of different types of people.
Want to go in?
Definitely you have to be hear, the university is in a very good location, you have mountains, beaches, the desert and the border of Mexico very close to you. The weather is amazing most of the year it’s hot with a very comfortable temperature. The university is nestled on top of mesa, known as Alcalá Park there you can enjoy a beautiful view in town. Inside or near the campus you will find Golf courses, tennis courts, two swimming pools, fields of beach volleyball, commercial center with restaurants, theater, stores, the famous zoo etc. In weekends you always going to have something to do, there is a lot of different activities to do with your friends so you can choose what ever you want, for example watching movies, playing Frisbee, watching the sun set over the ocean, late night and many more. Don’t miss the opportunity to live this amazing experience. So what are you waiting?
